  Operation priciple:

  

 

The herringbone gears fixed to the main shaft starts to rotate with the movement of the motor and make the other touching gear rotates. Thereby the flow starts from the inlet.
The liquid fills all the spaces in  the casing. The gears rotating in the opposite direction moves the liquid between the gears and the casing. 
The liquid caught in the gears and the casing is  forced to flow. (The signs on the rotating parts give clue about the rotate operation.)
